I took a Hippocratic Oath when I graduated dental school. And though I strive to follow all of the covenants to the best of my ability, the one covenant which always rang the loudest to me is, “I will remember that there is art to dentistry as well as science, and that warmth, sympathy, and understanding may outweigh the surgeon’s knife or the chemist’s drug.”
I love putting a smile on peoples’ faces, and since it’s my job to make it a beautiful smile, it’s twice as sweet. I love gaining the trust of a patient and putting to rest their anxieties. It’s extremely rewarding to have a patient who “hates seeing the dentist” tell me they can’t wait until the next time we see each other!
I am active in multiple, ongoing continuing education offerings. I want to continue to provide my patients with the most up-to-date and highest standard of care, along with the best treatments available. They trust me with their smile; I want to live up to that trust.
I’m an active Dawson Course Alumni, Advanced Implant Study Club member, and take additional courses throughout the year. Areas of interest include IV conscious sedation, dental surgery, and implant placement.
