Rock Hill In-Office Teeth Whitening

A smile is a curve that sets everything straight!
Our Opalescence Boost teeth whitening system offers immediate results. Your appointment will last no longer than 1 hour and 1/2. You will also be given whitening to take home for maintenance.
Customized Whitening Trays: An impression is taken so trays fit perfectly to your teeth. You will be given a starter kit of bleach at your impression appointment.
Our patients have been very curious about teeth whitening procedures, so we have developed a short FAQ section for the most frequently asked questions about teeth whitening treatments:
The degree to which teeth whitening can work for you is individually based. There are many factors that can contribute to whiter teeth such as home care, oral habits (smoking, red wine, tea), thickness and shade of enamel. With regular care, your teeth will look noticeably whiter.
Although take-home teeth whitening methods are effective, in-office visits will usually yield more dramatic results. While there are no set number of times you need to come in, we recommend at least 2 in-office visits to start seeing results.

However you are looking to lighten your teeth, you have many options to choose from:

Over-The Counter:

This is usually the cheapest form of whitening. Includes toothpaste, gels and rinses, which all contain a varying degree of peroxide. It may also include pre-made whitening trays and strips you wear for a few minutes.

At-Home Care:

Dentist-prescribed whitening offers much more dramatic results than store-bought products, yet still affordable. You’l receive custom made-whitening trays to take home and use with whitening gel. There is a lower amount of peroxide than the in-office trays, but you’ll generally wear the tray for 30 minutes to several hours a day. You can also choose overnight whitening options.

In-Office Whitening:

In-office whitening produces the most dramatic results in the least amount of time, simply due to the professional application of high-concentration peroxide. Our practice also combines the peroxide whitening with laser treatments to achieve optimal results.

The difference is the concentration of peroxide in the gels used in-office versus at-home. Also, our dental hygienists can combine the chemical treatments with laser technology to achieve more dramatic results than at-home trays. Either option you choose, we feel that you will be surprised how much your teeth will whiten.
