I feel privileged to have been granted the opportunity to change lives with what I do. Not only do I get to practice the art and craft of dentistry, but I get to do life with the people I am serving. I get to be a part of something bigger than myself. I get to connect with my community. I am so grateful to have a team that believes in the same philosophy of care as I do. I am grateful to be able to create a space for people that is about more than just teeth. What’s important to us? Of course, we want to care for teeth. Every dentist wants to do that. We’re after more. We want to care for people. We want to provide the highest quality care while listening to what our patients want and need. Just as there are no two people that are alike, there are no two treatment plans that are the same.

I love the creativity and challenges that dentistry brings. As an artist, I have such a high appreciation for the level of craftsmanship that dentistry demands. One of the reasons I love this profession is that a day will never go by that there is not something new to learn. I strive to be at the forefront of dentistry. This not only propels the highest level of care but equips me to be able to educate my patients.

Outside of the office, I refuel with things I love. The Ralph Waldo Emerson quote “live in the sunshine, swim the sea, drink the wild air” is something I try to keep in mind when I’m deciding how to spend my time. I really enjoy backpacking and hiking with my husband. Creating art is something I make sure to create space in my life for. I love to run, ride my bike, and practice yoga.

I’m originally from Seymour, TN, and now call Rock Hill, SC my home.  I went to college at Carson Newman College in east Tennessee, where I studied Biochemistry and Art. It was during this time that I realized what a perfect fit dentistry was for me. It is the perfect combination of science, art, and caring for people.

What I love about Rock Hill: This town is unlike any other, the people are what make it. I have been so welcomed and I look forward to every opportunity to become more connected with our community. Whether it be community events, like Come See Me, or diving in to meet the needs of our neighbors, I love everything about Rock Hill. Living in the community I serve makes life so rich. Thank you, Rock Hill for making this place great!
